ELINNO

Elinno design combines the best of Chinese tradition with the latest Scandinavian design. Chinese philosophy and craft skills, as well as the pure simplicity of Nordic nature are the main sources of our design, although we like to keep our mind open to anything we see and feel.

We believe good design means respect for the environment and people alike. We want to design timeless products that live longer than just the last season. We use only high quality materials, mostly fine bone china, and all the materials are non-toxic. Our decorations are durable and non-soluble. We make our packages recyclable and avoid all unnecessary wrapping. We also want to pay special attention to local production conditions and support small scale traditional craftsmen when possible. All in all, we want to do what we love to do, and hopefully grow doing so.

Last year has been a good one for Elinno. Our new playful designs are rising growing attention, a good instance of this being the leading Finnish department store, Stockmann, where our products are going to be available in March.

ELINNO 2010 COLLECTION

"When you always give, you will always have."

The idea of mix & match was one of the leading ones, when Elinno designers Liang Liang and Anni Paunila planned the Elinno 2010 collection. Each design forms an unique world of its own, but can also be matched together with the other designs in the collection. The patterns, the colours and even the smallest details are designed to make a perfect match. This makes it possible to freely choose items from different ranges and create a personal combination of your own. Blue Peony and New Willow from the 2009 Collection are also possible to combine with the designs of the new collection.

The Elinno 2010 Collection consists of five different decorative designs. As the names hint, the designs are filled with flowers, birds and butterflies. Rose Garden, Love in the Air, Lotus Lullaby, Morning Flirt and Bite of Beauty take us for an unhurried walk in an abundant Far East garden.
